We are a "BLACK AMERICAN" family,who pride ourselves on wanting the best for our children. We are a successful, honest, law abiding,loving, faithful, and devoted family. Our Home is located in modern diverse suburban town of Deer Park in New York. Deer park is located 45-55 minutes from fabulous metropolitan city of New York City. "The Fashion universe Herb and I commute to New York City each day for work. As such, we are on the road approximately 1-2 hours each day. We are local College graduates. Education is considered extremely important in our family Therefore, we encourage our Au pairs to pursue an education. Our family is very close and our children get along great with each other. Jaden loves to teach his little brother fun activities. Both Jaden and Hunter attend the same Montessori school, now. However this coming fall, Jaden will attend full day First grade, and Hunter will attend Half day Pre-Kindergarten. In addition, They both are enrolled in Shin'ichi Suzuki music(piano), soccer, baseball, swimming, art/crafts, origami and culinary lessons. Our Ideal au pair must be have experience with children. She/he must have a sincere interest in children. Our Au pair should be Honest, mature, responsible, flexible, active, open-minded to different races and ethnicities, patient, kind, strong driver, and willing to assimilate into our family and community. We will need our Au pair in late September. The schedule would be flexible but would involve Escorting Jaden on the school bus, transporting Hunter to school by car,in different weather and climate conditions, making lunch daily,and sometimes dinner for the children, reading and playing with the children, doing homework with children, assisting with DAILY piano lessons, supervising nap time, escorting the children to the playground, tidying up the children's room and taking care of the children when host parents are at work. One of our previous Aupair name was Habi and she is a brilliant fashionista and a wonderful young lady from France and unfortunately she finished her year, last year and returned home to start her career in International business. Habi has taught us so much about Muslim, French, Algerian, and Senegalese culture. We even celebrated Ramadan with her. We were grateful for her, and our children adored the rich French culture and language. So we are looking forward to welcoming a new Au pair who will assimilate well with our family. Some of the things we love to do, Herb loves to play baseball, and has a passion for Airplanes, and we both have a passion for motorcycles, even though we sold our motorcycles to raise our children. I love fashion, traveling, discovering new cultures, shopping, hanging out with my family and friends, riding bicycle with the family, I love introducing the boys to new cultures by exposing them to different parts of New York city and the world. There are many fun activities for an Au pair in our area. Currently, our Wonderful Brazilian Aupair commutes to the city by train on her free time to hang out with her friends. There is plenty of buses and trains to take you around the area and into New York City. There are lots of shopping areas/malls, parks, restaurants, sports facilities, ice skating rinks, Farms, cinema, theater and tons of other entertainment.
